🧘 INNER CHILD MEDITATION

Meditation Library — Practice 1

🌿 PURPOSE

This meditation is designed to help you reconnect with the younger version of yourself.

The part of you that existed before expectations.

Before survival became a necessity.

Before you learned to hide parts of yourself in order to feel safe.

This meditation is not about reliving pain.

It is about creating a safe space for reconnection.


🌱 BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.

Sit or lie comfortably.

Allow your body to relax.

Take a few slow breaths.

Release any expectations.

Simply be present.


🌬️ BEGIN

Close your eyes if comfortable.

Take a slow breath in.

And a slow breath out.

Again.

Slowly breathing in.

Slowly breathing out.

Allow your shoulders to soften.

Allow your jaw to relax.

Allow your body to settle.


🌿 VISUALIZATION

Imagine yourself walking down a peaceful path.

There is no destination.

No pressure.

Only gentle movement.

As you walk, notice the scenery around you.

Notice the colors.

Notice the sounds.

Notice the feeling of safety.

Ahead of you is a younger version of yourself.

There is no need to rush.

Approach gently.

Observe them.

Notice their expression.

Notice their energy.

Notice what they may be carrying.


❤️ CONNECTION

When you feel ready, sit beside them.

There is nothing you need to fix.

Nothing you need to change.

Simply be present.

Ask:

"What do you need me to know?"

Pause.

Listen.

Allow whatever comes to come.

If nothing comes, that is okay.

Remain present.

Ask:

"What do you need from me right now?"

Pause again.

Listen gently.


🌿 REASSURANCE

When you feel ready, say:

You are safe.

You are seen.

You are loved.

You do not have to carry everything alone.

I am here now.

I will listen.

I will protect you.

I will not abandon you.

Allow those words to settle.


🌬️ RETURN

Take a deep breath in.

And slowly release it.

Thank your younger self for meeting with you.

Watch them become surrounded by warmth, light, and safety.

Begin returning your awareness to the present moment.

Notice your breath.

Notice your body.

Notice the room around you.

When ready, gently open your eyes.


📓 REFLECTION

After completing this meditation, journal:

• What did I notice about my younger self?

• What emotions surfaced?

• What message did I receive?

• What support was requested?

• How can I honor that request today?


✨ AFFIRMATION

I honor the child within me.

I listen with compassion.

I respond with love.

I create safety within myself.

I am both the witness and the protector.
