COURSE 105 - Emotional Sovereignty

Theme

Owning Your Emotional World

Purpose

This course is designed to help students develop a healthier relationship with their emotions by increasing emotional awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and cultivating greater personal responsibility for emotional responses.

Many people have learned to suppress emotions, avoid emotions, fear emotions, or become overwhelmed by emotions. Emotional sovereignty is the ability to acknowledge, understand, and navigate emotions without being controlled by them.

Students will learn how to identify triggers, regulate emotional responses, practice accountability, and lead themselves through emotional experiences with greater awareness and intention.

The goal is not emotional suppression.

The goal is emotional mastery.

Awareness creates regulation.

Regulation creates sovereignty.

Emotional sovereignty begins when you learn to feel without losing yourself.
