๐ณ PURPOSE
Grounding Breath is designed to help you reconnect with the present moment.
This practice supports:
- stability
- balance
- focus
- nervous system regulation.
Use this breathwork when:
- You feel overwhelmed
- You feel anxious
- You feel scattered
- You feel emotionally activated
- You need to return to center
Grounding creates the foundation for wise decisions.
๐ฟ WHEN TO USE
Use this practice:
- Before difficult conversations
- Before making important decisions
- During periods of uncertainty
- When emotions feel overwhelming
- When you need to reconnect with the present moment
๐ณ THE PRACTICE
Sit comfortably with both feet firmly planted on the floor.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Rest your hands comfortably on your lap.
If comfortable, close your eyes.
Bring awareness to the points where your body connects with the chair and floor.
Begin the following breathing pattern:
Inhale for 4 counts
Feel yourself becoming present.
Hold for 4 counts
Allow your body to settle.
Exhale for 8 counts
Release tension and excess energy.
Repeat for:
โณ 5โ10 minutes
Imagine roots extending from your feet into the earth, anchoring you firmly and securely.
๐ณ GROUNDING AWARENESS
As you breathe, gently notice:
- What is true in this moment?
- What am I carrying that is not mine?
- What can I release right now?
- What requires my attention today?
Focus only on what is present.
Return to the breath whenever your mind wanders.
โจ AFFIRMATION
I am grounded.
I am present.
I am safe in this moment.
I trust myself to remain centered.
I return to balance with every breath.
